Inspiring short stories

Emperor Akbar had a wise minister named Birbal. One day Akbar told Birbal" write something that makes one sad while in happiness and makes him happy while in sadness. Birbal wrote:
THIS TIME WILL PASS SOON

A joker told a joke, everyone laughed aloud. He told the same joke again, only a few people laughed. He said it again and noone laughed. Then after that the joker told very beautiful lines that if you can't be happy on the same thing again then why do you cry in the same grief for long ?

Waiter complained Bill Gates : same table, your son gave 500 $ tips but you the richest man gave just 5 $. Bill Gates said: he is the son of the world's richest man but i am son of a woodcutter. NEVER FORGET YOUR PAST ITS YOUR BEST TEACHER.

As a man was passing the elephants he suddenly stopped confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being hold by only a small rope tied to their front leg, no chains no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could at anytime break away from their bounds but for some reason they didn't. He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away ? 'Well', the trainer said" when they were very young and much smaller we used the same-size rope to tie them and at that age it was strong enough to hold them. As they grow up they are conditioned to believe the rope can still hold them so they never try to break free. The man got amazed. So, like the elephants how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something simply because we failed at it once before. Failure is a part of learning we should never give up the struggle in life.

i like these short but very inspiring stories.

I already encounter the story about the elephant and yes, it's still a wake up call for everyone. It's easy to become pessimistic than optimistic.

and i agree with the joker!
